Dr Petersen performed a Mohs surgery around my temple yesterday. He removed a section that was slightly larger than a quarter. Any discomfort was minimal and because he is so good at what he does he could tell before the surgery that the cancerous area was larger than I realized. He removed everything within two cuts. He stitches with such precision that my scars are mostly unnoticeable; you would think he was a cosmetic surgeon, and I learned yesterday in our conversation that he did cosmetic surgery before full time dermatology. I went straight out from there and worked in my yard for 5 hours with very little discomfort. He placed glue on top of the stitches as he knew my plan to work in the yard. Every staff member I spoke with was very caring with great people skills. Dr Petersen's upbeat personality also made the experience totally non-threatening. I've been seeing Dr Petersen and his staff for years and there is no one I ever want to see for my dermatology needs again. I've been to several derms throughout my life, and I found the place I trust my skin needs to.

I Had a nightmarish experience with Epiphany Dermatology & was desperate for some professional help immediately! My face was completely broken out in red, scaly, itchy patches due to the meds they prescribed.I Called 2 other dermatologist in a panic & they both said 2-3 weeks to be seen! Thank God I Called Mo Dermatologist & they saw me within 2 hours!! I met with Patrick & he immediately told me to stop my current meds & gave me a new medication to start my healing process asap. (Epiphany decided to let BOTH Dr’s go on vacation at the Same time & left the receptionist in charge of the office…Idiocy!) My face was completely cleared up after 2 weeks or so & because of their compassion & treatment for me-I am a patient for life! I Recently went to Patrick for a full body exam & he used liquid nitrogen to clear up about 10 Age spots on my face & on my arms. It’s been 1week & most on my face have already disappeared! Excellent! First time on yearly full skin exam it was done properly. Down to underwater with paper coverall. Not seen even close to this at previous 3 dermatologist! Jessica is professional , good listener , discusses options with pros and cons and gives adequate time. Biopsy of face was a breeze very gentle! Good discussion on elderly male with history of fair skin frequently burned in young years but in elderly current conditions what specifics should look in sun screen topical hats close etc. would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for caring complete and professional dermatological care!

I was nervous because they had identified basal cells on my face. I was both lucky it wasn’t bad but also lucky I came to this place as they did an amazing job and gave me clear instructions how to avoid scarring.

Dr. Tripani is very thorough and skilled. Not rushed. I trust in her ability and judgment one hundred percent. My only recommendation is that once a procedure like mine is done the office would provide written wound care instructions. Dr. Peterson removed five cysts from my scalp. It took a total of about 15 minutes from the time I sat down until I was walking out of the facility. I was amazed at how fast and efficient he was. I drove from Kansas City to Chesterfield for this procedure and would do it again in a heartbeat if I had to.

Patrick has been very helpful in helping me manage my skin problems with my lower legs. Suggested a new lymphedema pump system that uses current technology and was involved in the training session with the company rep and myself. My Legs are much improved. After being left by Epiphany Dermatology with no help/guidance /direction & both Dr’s on vacation at the SAME time…(insanely stupid) …called MO Dermatology. Sent pics of my Areas of concern & gave me Appt 3 hrs after I called the same day! Amazing!! Told me to stop my other cream treatment-(probably went 2 days too long) & me a new cream treatment & a steroid shot & ordered a rush on my prescription. Great office. From Tracy setting up my visit, to her sister Bell being very sweet as well, and Dr. Petersen being the BEST (great doc and better personality), my experience there is always fantastic. Highly recommended!

Dr Petersen and his staff have treated my oral vascular malformation for a few years. I had seen 2 other physicians and he and another doc at his practice finally diagnosed it correctly. I recently required a more extensive procedure and all went smoothly. He is thorough, friendly, and takes care of business! Usually a few months to get in, but I usually get seen at appointments in a timely manner. My only comment would be he doesn’t give a lot of discharge instructions. However he cares and is skillful, so just ask the questions you have and he always has an answer!
